IGCA is proud to welcome two exhibitions in our galleries by Susan Bizecki and a University of Anchorage Alaska Painting and Sculpture Student Showcase: Technology and Nature.

We will also be inviting UAA Painting and Sculpture Students and Teachers for an artist talk on Saturday, March 10th at 2:00pm.

Both exhibitions will close on Friday, March 30th at 4pm.

Center Gallery: Susan Bizecki | Mergers

Mergers is an installation consisting of 8 banners. Images of common objects and symbols are merged together and layered using window screening. The work is transparent allowing the viewer to visit the imagery from both sides.

North and South Galleries: UAA Painting and Sculpture Student Showcase | Technology and Nature

The painting and sculpture concentration areas in the Department of Art at the University of Alaska Anchorage worked together to create an exhibition of works that represent a range of work being created within the Department of Art at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
