Members Exhibition — International Gallery of Contemporary Art

Annual IGCA Members Exhibition | May 2025

This annual exhibition is more than a group show, it has a very clear purpose - to take the current pulse of our artist community. We encourage members to think about which work best represents what you have been focused on and passionate about this last year, or maybe what you are excited to pursue over this next year. The work you submit does not have to be for sale. Your submission could be a finished piece, an experimental work, part of a series, whatever! We leave it up to you to take your artistic pulse and provide a work (or two) that best reflects your practice and vision.

Submission Guidelines:

Your membership must be current or your volunteer days must have been within the last year
All media welcome
No dimensional limitations (however, space is limited, so if considering submitting more than one large work, please keep that in mind and contact Karinna with any questions or concerns)
Up to 2 submissions per artist (all submissions will be included, space permitting)

Please help us prepare by filling out the form below BEFORE dropping off your work at the gallery.

Artwork drop off dates: April 5-25 during gallery hours (Thursday - Sunday from 1-4 pm) - Last day to drop off your art is Friday, April 25!!
Exhibition dates: The exhibition will open on First Friday, May 2 and will run through Friday, May 30

Consignment Terms

1. All items shall remain the property of the Artist until sold. A label will be affixed to each piece of artwork identifying the artist’s name and the title and date of the work. 2. The Gallery agrees to sell all consigned artwork at the listed retail price and will receive a 25% commission on any sales. 3. Payment shall be due by the 20th day of each month for items sold the previous month. 4. The Artist should pick up any unsold items within ten (10) days from the closing of the exhibition for which works are submitted. The Gallery is unable to store artwork and is not responsible for loss or damage beyond this period. 5. The Gallery may notify the Artist to remove any or all items for any reason. The Artist may remove work at any time but is encouraged not to remove work during the run of an exhibition. The Gallery makes efforts to leave an exhibition whole during its full run but may, at times, allow a buyer to take work out of an exhibition at the time of purchase. 6. The Gallery will be liable for loss or damage to all items while in the Gallery's possession from the signing of this agreement until 10 days past the close of the exhibition. For minor damage, the artist is encouraged to work with the gallery to repair the work rather than declare a loss. This damage shall be limited to the money due the artist if the items had sold. 7. The Artist allows the Gallery to use images of the artwork for exhibition publicity, which includes the Gallery website, newsletter and social media. 8. The Artist shall retain all right of copyright pertaining to reproduction of the artwork. The sale of an artwork does not affect the Artist's intellectual property rights.
